I tried sending MailSteward to be notarized, and got an error message saying it could not be notarized because it was not āhardenedā. I have no idea what hardened means, but I found a flag in Xcode and set harden to yes, recompiled, and tried again. This time it said it couldnāt do it because I am using the Sparkle framework to handle upgrades, and Sparkle is not hardened. So I gave up for now and did a new release without being notarized, but left it āhardenedā.
MailSteward can be set to automatically schedule an archive of recent e-mail. If you select the Scheduling panel in the MailSteward Settings, you can specify a schedule for automatically launching MailSteward to do an archive of new e-mail. [NOTE: You must quit MailSteward in order for a scheduled archive to run] The schedule will launch MailSteward, archive all e-mail starting on the most recent date in the database and then it will quit MailSteward when it has completed the archive process.
You also don't have to continue the public beta program. Instead, you can opt out of future updates fairly easily.

Click on the Reply icon, to reply to the selected e-mail. The macOS Mail application will be launched and an e-mail message window opened, with the From, To, and Subject information filled in, and the text of the message being replied to, inserted in the body. Clicking on the Fwd icon, will also launch the Mail app and open a new forwarded message window.

With the basic set-up for leaving Gmail now in place, there is still work te be done over the coming months. Clearing out the archive at Gmail is one step, once I feel comfortable with searching my new mysql archive. Creating more filters in my mail client, and writing a few scripts to integrate my mail processing with the other tools I use is another. There are also likely a whole bunch of things (accounts, subscriptions etc) that use my gmail address, which I will change as I go along.
And you can sort the retrieved e-mails by:

2. Delete MailSteward 10.4 application using the Trash
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/mysql*
First of all, make sure to log into your Mac with an administrator account, or you will be asked for a password when you try to delete something.
